Produced as a snapshot album, it combines family photographs taken by Lyon's ancestors in czarist Russia and pre-World War II Germany with his own photographs of his children. The book's premise is that the children receive a space-time machine as a gift and go off into the past. There they relive years of previous adventures through their family's old photographs. Includes many pictures taken by Lyon over the course of a decade, as well as text and poetry inspired by his children
