Jonny Negron and Isabel Legate: Orb

Orb features a selection of reference images and original drawings by artists Isabel Legate and Jonny Negron.

After collaborating in various capacities, the artists agreed to create a zine that would serve as a link to our recent collaboration, but also as a reference to the artists' respective approaches to their practices. Orb compiles various images selected from the artists' references, including screen grabs from online content, film stills, diagrams, and mandalas. In addition to found imagery, original works by Legate and Negron are featured throughout, informing their use and interpretation of this concept of the orb.
